Hollywood made Century City. 20thCentury Fox was producing the movie Cleopatra, which ran out of budget. The studio ended up selling some of its backlot to William Zeckendorf and Alcoa Inc. Century City was designed by Welton Becket as a city within a city. It comes complete with pedestrian bridges and wide boulevards to reduce human traffic. Currently, Century City is a business hub in LA. There are lots of places worth visiting as seen below.

The museum, which stands on more than 10,000-square-foot land, is located in Stars Avenue, placing it at the heart of Century City. The works in the museum focus on human condition expressing the philanthropic work of different artists. 

Fox Plaza

Fox Plaza is known to many action movie fans. In the 1988 Bruce Willis’ movie, Die Hard, the building features as the Nakatomi Plaza. This plaza houses Fox Studios, another popular establishment among action movie lovers. The 35-story plaza has a rich history with hundreds of movies being produced from there. Granted, the next time you have a few hours to spare in Los Angeles, pass by Fox Plaza. 

Beverly Gardens Park

When you need to get away from the buzz in the city, you can run to Beverly Gardens Park and experience the serenity and coolness of a natural environment.
